Cathy's thoughtful approach to each project and attention to detail gives each home a unique ambiance that reflects the lifestyle and personality of the client. For each room she begins by utilizing traditional design elements to establish a furniture layout and color scheme that make sense for the space and the client's needs. She then sets out to find the right pieces and fabrics to make the room fabulous and inviting. With three children of her own she is always conscious of designing rooms that are both beautiful and functional.

Her strength lies in helping clients build or renovate their homes. She is very adept at managing complex renovations and new builds with clarity and care. When helping a client build a home or complete a major renovation, Cathy gets to know her clients' tastes, color preferences and lifestyle in order to help her create customized and unique rooms. She is adept at managing the dual path of the construction process and the interior furnishing process. Her goal is to simplify the process for the client and allow them to enjoy the experience of creating their dream home.

When possible, Cathy suggests that a client hire her firm at the beginning of the building process. By having Cathy work with the client and the architect in selecting the lighting and fixtures, countertops, tile and flooring for the home she is able to help the client create a foundation to enhance the architecture and ensure that all rooms in the house flow easily from one to the next.
